UAQTEA

UAQTEA is a Philippine law that gives free tuition and fees to eligible students in TESDA state-run schools. It helps make quality education accessible, especially for low-income families, through government funding, subsidies, and loans under UniFAST.

 

TWSP

TWSP is a major TESDA scholarship program that provides training in priority industries to address the country’s skills needs. It aims to fill critical skills gaps, support economic growth, and improve job opportunities, especially for unemployed or unenrolled individuals aged 18 and above.

 

STEP

STEP is a TESDA community-based scholarship program that provides short, specialized training to help marginalized and disadvantaged individuals gain skills for employment or starting small businesses within their local communities.

PAYEE

Payee scholar TESDA” refers to the process of how TESDA scholars receive their allowances and the requirements for them to be paid, including a P160/day Training Support Fund (TSF) that is disbursed in two tranches. Payment is often made through Landbank Cash Cards or mobile wallets, and a scholar must meet specific training milestones to receive the full amount.
