HOLY CHILD & TESDA: Stronger Together!

TAGUM CITY, DAVAO DEL NORTE—The commitment to delivering high-quality technical-vocational education and training (TVET) to students in Davao del Norte was firmly reinforced today following a key meeting between Holy Child and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Holy Child School President, Mr. Pol Allan D. Leuterio, made a productive courtesy visit to TESDA Provincial Director Jasmin J. Neri of Davao del Norte.

The high-level discussion focused on solidifying and strengthening the existing partnership between the two institutions. Holy Child, a dedicated provider of education, and TESDA, the principal government agency responsible for TVET, are seeking to deepen their collaboration to ensure students receive the most relevant and industry-responsive skills training.

“This meeting is a crucial step that reinforces our dedication to working hand-in-hand with TESDA,” said Mr. Leuterio. “Our goal is simple: to deliver the best TVET to our students, equipping them with the certifications and practical knowledge they need to thrive in the workforce.”

Director Neri emphasized the importance of strong institutional partnerships in achieving TESDA’s mandate of creating a globally competitive and excellent Filipino workforce.

The renewed partnership is expected to lead to initiatives that include program enhancement, trainers’ training, and more robust accreditation processes, all aimed at fostering a future generation of skilled professionals from the region. The partnership signifies a united front in advancing the TVET sector in Davao del Norte.
