DIPLOMA IN MULTIMEDIA ARTS AND ANIMATION
The Diploma in Multimedia Arts and Animation is a three year program which prepares trainees for careers, career changes and career advancements. The DMAAN Program may also lead trainees for transfer to higher education. The program provides technical education and conceptual and technical skills specific for occupations.
Specific careers include visual graphic designer, 2D/3D animator, and multimedia artist.
DIPLOMA IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) is a three year program which prepares trainees for careers, career changes and career advancement. The DIT Program may also lead trainees for transfer to higher education. The program content provides depth and breadth in conceptual and professional/technical skill.
Specific careers include computer systems service technician, computer programmer, and junior database/ network administrator.
The qualification of Animation NCII may be attained through:
Accumulation of Certificates of Competency (COCs) in all the following
units of competencies:
Producing traditional cleaned-up key drawings.
Apply traditional drawing techniques for animation.
Produce traditional cleaned-up key drawings.
Producing traditional in-between drawings.
Apply traditional drawing techniques for animation.
Produce traditional in-between drawings.
Producing digital cleaned-up key drawings and in between drawings.
Produce digital cleaned-up key drawings.
Produce digital in-between drawings.
Successful candidates shall be awarded a Certificate of Competency
(COC) in each of the core units.
Demonstration of competence through a single comprehensive projecttype assessment covering all required units of competency of this qualification.
Upon accumulation and submission of all COCs acquired for all the relevant units
of competency comprising this qualification, an individual shall be issued the
corresponding National Certificate.
Assessment shall cover all competencies, with basic and common integrated or
assessed concurrently with the core units of competency.
The qualification of 2D Animation NCIII may be attained through:
Accumulation of Certificates of Competency (COCs) in all the
following units of competency:
COC 1 – Producing traditional key poses/drawings for animation.
Produce traditional key poses/drawings for animation.
Export animation to video file format.
Creating tradigital animation.
Create tradigital animation.
Export animation to video file format.
Creating 2D digital cut-out animation.
Create 2D digital cut-out animation.
Export animation to video file format.
Successful candidates shall be awarded a Certificate of
Competency (COC) in each of the core units.
Demonstration of competence through a single comprehensive
project-type assessment covering all required units of competency of this qualification.

Competency (COC) in each of the core units.
Demonstration of competence through a single comprehensive
project-type assessment covering all required units of competency
of this qualification.

The qualification of Computer Systems Servicing NC II may be attained
through:
Accumulation of Certificates of Competency (COCs) in all the
following units of competencies:
Install and configure computer systems.
Set-up computer networks.
Set-up computer servers.
Maintain and Repair Computer Systems and Networks.
Successful candidates shall be awarded a Certificate of
Competency (COC) in each of the core units.
Upon accumulation and submission of all COCs acquired for the relevant units of competency comprising a qualification, an individual shall be issued the corresponding National Certificate.
For individuals, who already possess National Certificate (NC) or Certificate of
Competency (COC) along Computer Hardware Servicing NC II.
The qualification of Web Development NCIII may be attained through:
Accumulation of Certificates of Competency (COCs) in all the
following units of competencies:
Developing Responsive Web Design.
Utilize software methodologies.
Develop responsive web design.
Creating Interactive Websites (using JavaScript).
Utilize software methodologies.
Create interactive websites.
Developing website backend.
Utilize software methodologies.

Successful candidates shall be awarded a Certificate of
Competency (COC) in each of the core units.

project-type assessment covering all required units of competency
of this qualification.
