DIPLOMA IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The program emphasizes hands-on, competency-based training. Core areas include:
Computer systems servicing (NC II)
Network installation and configuration
Server setup and maintenance
Cybersecurity fundamentals
Web development and database management
IT troubleshooting and customer support
Educational Background: Open to junior high school (JHS) graduates who have at least 2 years of industry experience (“nag-work da piman” – as stated by TESDA officials).
Senior high school (SHS) graduates may also enroll if they did not pursue or complete a 4-year bachelor’s degree.
Competency Assessment: Students must pass national assessments each semester with a minimum 75% passing rate in both technical and academic components.
